Joseph's first day of kindergarten is tomorrow! Tonight we met his teacher, toured his classroom and saw where he'll be spending 3 hours a day...yup 1/2 day kindergarten is only 3 hours a day. But it's still a big jump for him from daycare/pre-K and staying home with mom all summer to going to REAL school! He was impressed with the size of his school and loved seeing his name on his desk. I didn't get a picture of Joseph with Mrs. Hamilton because she was busy with other kids and families, but I'll try and get one tomorrow.
Lillian will be missing her first day of school next Monday, because we're heading to Nebraska to see the Total Solar Eclipse. So Miss Weasler let us come in and take a peak at her 1st grade room ready and waiting for Lillian to join! As much as the kids have been dreading, "Back to School", I think they both feel at ease now that they have seen their teachers and classrooms.
