Lillian won 3rd Place and $25 cash for her Keep Christ in Christmas poster from the Knights of Columbus! She was so proud when they called her name! Wish I had taken a picture of the poster before we submitted it.

Granby Ranch
The Jackson's rented a great house in Granby Ranch. The whole community was impressive but a little too small for our "expert" skiers, fortunately, Winter Park is only a 25 minute drive away! We skied by day and had big sleepover shenanigans by night with these cute kiddos.

2nd Grade Field Trip
I was able to chaperone the 2nd grade trip to the Arvada Center today. I finally took my driver's safety coarse and I'm now able to drive kids to and from school (why have a minivan if you aren't going to put it to use!).

Cookie Selling....
Lillian had some enthusiastic helpers selling cookies at Lowry today. I recognize fewer and fewer residents every time I visit now. But it still feels good to drop in, and it's always great to see Fiona!

Miner's Alley
We absolutely love this little theater, so glad Grammy & Opa volunteer here. The kids love the opportunity to get on stage and perform, this time they were characters from Young King Arthur's Court. Lillian loved playing a princess and when they put a sleeping spell on Joseph he had the crowd in stitches!

Snow Day & Brenna's Birthday
School was cancelled today! I think it was closed because the temperatures were extremely frigid! Our high is 7 today and trust me - it felt like it! We gave the kids some Tupperware to play with and when Emma's dog Buddy went to join in the fun - the Tupperware shattered in his mouth due to the extreme cold! It didn't stop the kids from having fun though!
And it didn't stop Brenna from wanting to go out to dinner to celebrate her 8th birthday. The girls enjoyed dressing up for dinner at Hacienda!

Winter Camping!
We did it! We de-winterized the camper and took it to Steamboat with us for the weekend. We had more fun in our camper this weekend than you could imagine! The Steamboat KOA is on the bus line to the slopes, equipped with a full bathroom and showers, electricity and Wifi (But shh don't tell the kids!). It was a great trial run - and we will be winter camping again in the future no doubt!
