Nature & Science Museum with Grammie!

 

The Zoo Again....

 We rushed home from Granby to take advantage of our zoo reservation.  I didn't want to let it go to waste (but I double booked us!).  Despite rushing to get here, we had a great time!  It's fun to see the animals at different parts of the day, but especially fun to see them with Dad.

Lake Granby

Lucky us, Daddy volunteered to help his buddy John work on his cabin up here on beautiful Lake Granby.  The kids and I get to enjoy the lake while he works and this fall we get to enjoy John's house all to ourselves as a payback!  We kind of like it here....

Nature & Science Museum

The Nature and Science museum reopened as well.  Unfortunately, the museum just isn't as much fun since we aren't able to interact with, or touch anything.  But still, it gets us out of the house and for that we are grateful!  In fact, I was so excited that I invited an extra 4 kids to join us!

 Lillian was much more comfortable camping with her smaller cast this weekend!

A Backyard Michael Franti Concert!

 Since large social outings, such as concerts are still not allowed to happen.  Michael Franti offered a virtual home concert.  The girls and I pitched in and purchased a viewing session.  Mike moved the TV on the back porch for us and we danced as if we were at Red Rocks.  Unfortunately, Emily was sick ad didn't want to take the chance exposing us.  Lillian was happy to fill in and dance with the ladies though!

Swimming with the Jackson's

 The Jackson's pool hasn't opened so we snuck them into ours!  Guests are limited to family only this year, and even then they're strict on how many people can come.  So 9 AM on a Wednesday seemed like a safe time to sneak a few sweet girls in to the pool with us!  And thank goodness Nathan is always up for swimming.  We needed another boy to help balance out the group!

A New Buddy for Joseph

 This year sure has been a roller coaster, while we all work to understand (and avoid contracting!) the Coronavirus.  But the pool has been a lifesaver and Joseph made a new buddy in the neighborhood.

The Pool Opened!

 After month's of staying home things are beginning to reopen and it is so nice!  Unfortunately, Lillian can't swim yet.  We tried putting a bag over her cast but the water leaked in, I would buy her a swim cover, but the cast is hopefully coming off on Monday! 

The Zoo Reopened!

 The zoo reopened and it feels so weird to have something on the calendar!  Haha
