Tips on Curing Winter Boredom...

If you're experiencing the winter blues right about now....You should really come visit us!  There's never a dull moment in the Colorado Kerschen household.  Here's a potpourri of photographs from several occasions over the last few weeks.
 Football potluck party!
Enjoying stickers Grammy sent in the mail.
Spinning round and round on the bicycle carousel at the Wooden Shoe.  It takes us at least 20 minutes to leave school every night.  They just love it there and they love their friends so much!
More football viewing at the Bergner's this time!

Hide-N-Seek in the house - a favorite for generation after generation.  Somethings never change!

Lillian and my assistant at work text each other high fives frequently.
Yes, we let her go to school like this.
We did make Jak change shoes though!
And no, we did not let Jak out of the house dressed like this.
Anytime is a good time to drop everything and read a library book!

Girl's Night Out

We loved the new Union Station!  It was so nice to go out in downtown Downtown without feeling like old ladies in LoDo surrounded by 21 year olds!

Of course, we were still home before midnight!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Can't think of a better way to spend Dad's birthday than in the mountains!  After all, it's been a whole week and a half since we got to play in the snow.  So when we heard that "Cousin Phil" and the rest of the Wills gang were heading to Vail for the Martin Luther King holiday, we jumped at the chance to join them.  We were able to get a room at the hotel attached to where they were staying and got to visit with them before and after skiing.  We enjoyed delicious food, more hot tubbing and outdoor swimming in the winter and got to catch up with two of Mike's best buddies Michael and Greg.  Overall GREAT weekend!
 Making Daddy's cupcakes.
Driving up...love the Colorado Blue Sky!
Extra love and kisses for Daddy this weekend!

Swim trunks and snow boots.  I sure do love Colorado!

They sure do know how to behave when it counts.  They didn't embarrass us a single time all weekend in this fancy ski resort!

Estes Park - A Very Nice Holiday Tradition!!!

Grammy and Opa knocked the ball out of the park again!  This was the most beautiful mountain cabin I've ever stayed in, the view from the big living room, kitchen and loft window was like a postcard.

The only thing missing was Casey, Rob and Keira, our Estes Vacay overlapped with their Burns family North Carolina trip. The rest of us "Hanous" enjoyed euchre, dominoes, hiking, sledding, hot tubbing, deer watching, puzzle making, and playing kickball in the basement for 4 days straight!  The cousins got in some good QT and the adults got to really relax.  I must stress - we did relax - but in typical cabin fashion, no one slept very well!
 Hot Tubbin' in the Snow!
 One Happy Grammy
 Who's going to blink first?

 Missing our fourth Amigo!

Opa has not lost his touch, he's still the best sled pusher I've ever seen!  The kids wore out before he did.

Three devices for 5 kids...it could be worse! At least the girls agreed on the same show!

How long til Christmas comes back around?
