Shredder's!

Skiing is serious business, even if it is indoors!  Here the kids are stretching, tap dancing and warming up at Shredder's.  We signed them up for 6 weeks of indoor lessons...yup they get to ski in tank tops and t-shirts!

Grammy's Birthday Lunch!

All the Colorado kids and grandkids were able to gather for Grammie's birthday this year.  We had to "do lunch" because everyone seems to have Halloween plans around the dinner hour - but it was a beautiful day for a get together!

Boo at the Zoo with Grammy

The kids had the day off from school so we took Grammy to the zoo for an early birthday celebration.  Then we met Opa and the Hagaman's in Old Town for Trick or Treat Street.

The 2nd Grade visited the Nature & Science Museum today, and after school we had Lorrissa, Giuseppe and AJ come over to play and eat dinner.  It's good to be a kid....

CO Springs "Makers Fair"

Hands on science - woohoo!  Astronomy, live music, wood working, rocket launching and more!  We had a great time in Colorado Springs for the Maker's Fair today, with a stop in to see Great Uncle Bert on our way back home.

Lillian's rocket stuck to the ceiling!
We'll have to come back next fall and check if it's still up there!

Bronco Game!

IKON hosted a Bronco Party at Mile High Stadium tonight.  It was an away game, but we got to watch the game on the jumbo - tron with a bunch of other IKON ski pass holders.  We brought Mom and Dad and met up with our neighbors the Taylor's.  Everyone received a free soda or beer, commemorative metal cup and a free hot dog.  We had a great time and the Broncos won 45 - 10 over the Cardinals - by far the most action of any game so far this season!  The kids loved it - the small group of fans (probably 1000 people compared to the usual 60,000 in attendance) made lots of noise and we got to mingle with Miles, the mascot, a couple of cheerleaders and a former player.
