Easter Brunch at the Lerch's

Eating a few healthy bites between the Easter Candy craziness.

Easter Morning

This Easter Maniac woke up early, raring to go!  His poor sister had to hit the ground running with sleep still in her eyes.

Grammy and Opa were at church too, but they left too quick and missed the impromptu photo shoot.

Mia's 6th Birthday Party

Mia and Lillian were separated this year, Mia went to Lukas Elementary for Kindergarten and Lillian was at St. Anne's, of course.  Mia made sure to introduce Lillian to all of her new friends and Lillian acted like she knew all of these sweet little girls. You would never know that Lillian didn't go to Lukas Elementary with them!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Lowry

We had a new addition to the Easter Egg Hunt this year....everyone loved having Natalie there!  She is a doll.  But we missed Lillian this year.  She had a birthday party for her friend Hannah at the same time.  Joseph collected enough candy to share with her (and half the neighborhood!).

Back In School Together Again!

Lillian has the day off from school for Good Friday today.  I offered to bring her to work with me of course, but she surprised me by saying she'd rather spend the day with Joseph in Pre-K.  I guess we'd all like to go back to preschool for a day!  My heart was so happy saying goodbye to these cuties today.  They're going to have a great time!

Last Ski Trip of the Season

We left sunny, clear blue sky Denver only to arrive in a mini blizzard at Loveland!     Mike and I suggested we hang out in the lodge, have a snack, wait for the storm to pass... But Lillian wouldn't have it!  She said we didn't come up here to hang out in the lodge people!  We came here to ski!  And she was right.  The kiddie slopes were closed for the season, so the four of us headed up the big chair lift 1/2 way up the mountain.  The kids did great, but I've never been so scared in my life!  My fear of heights kicked in big time.  The lift didn't have a cross bar to lower, which if I was skiing alone wouldn't have bothered me, but with the kids riding next to me I panicked!  I actually had to talk myself through the panic and "meditate" it away.  Needless to say, Joseph and I only did two runs.  But Lillian continues to be a ski champ.  She loves it no matter what the weather is like!  We ended the day back home in the new hot tub.
Until next year!

A Great End to an Eventful Day!

Ian was out of town this weekend, and Kim had a Saturday night fundraiser for work.  The kids begged us to cancel their babysitter so the 4 cousins could all hang out.  I, of course was all for the idea!  We enjoyed this beautiful spring day to the fullest and explored the neighborhood.  After dinner, all 4 kids cuddled up in our bed and read bed time stories to each other.  It was so sweet.

Hopping Over to Visit Daddy At Work

After Disney on Ice, we hopped over to Bass Pro Shop to take a picture with the Easter Bunny!  Then we kept right on hopping to go visit Daddy at work.  Judging from the picture below, I'd say Daddy & Lillian enjoyed a mid-afternoon cuddle.

Disney On Ice

Disney On Ice was fantastic again this year!
