Poor Fiona - not only is she loosing me as her coworker but she is without a new cohort for another week or so. She planned a picnic to Lair O' the Bear on her actual birthday and we agreed to meet at the picnic area. We fly out tonight for our much anticipated summer trip home to Michigan! Fiona is going to watch Droste for us while we're gone. We'll be gone for 10 days, and Grammy is worried she's going to miss us.....so all of us packed in the mini-van and headed to Morrison. It was a beautiful day, Fiona over "sold" the outing and had to bring 2 buses and some extra staff. We served 22 residents, 4 employees, 1 former employee and her mom and 2 children! The Safeway 50 piece fried chicken pack did the job and fed us all.
We call this a Lillian Sandwich.
