St. Annes was closed for teacher in-services today, and Golden waved the admission fees to all of their museums. Lucky us! We were able to tour any museum in Golden free of charge, while most kids were in school. With mom and dad new to Golden we were excited to try out a few local attractions, it was hard to narrow down our choices! Of course, we ended up choosing the ones we thought the kids would enjoy the most. We began the day at the Colorado Railroad Museum and then enjoyed a picnic lunch at Buffalo Bill's Museum and Grave. We learned some interesting facts about our great state and I enjoyed a glimpse of what my life will be like in a few short weeks when I'm home with the kids all the time.
