So hard to have a "Covid safe" birthday party! But also so hard to let a birthday go by without celebrating somehow. We invited several friends and their families to join us for a backyard bash all throughout the day. No one came through the front door, all came around to the backyard, some stayed for just a few minutes, some stayed for hours (I think we're all a little starved for human contact these days!). Lillian felt the love and appreciated every minute of it. Next year, she's counting on a sleepover!
