Mike has taught the kids that you learn something new everyday. So every night at bedtime he asks them, "What did you learn today?". If they don't have an answer he's been teaching them something new. We discuss planets, stars, the five senses, species of trees, all sorts of things really. They've come to look forward to it and they even make requests about certain subjects. I'm not going to lie, Mike and I have been occasionally looking up a few facts before bedtime just to make sure we're correct!
