The School of Mines is known for having pretty smart students, but after this mornings events, I'm questioning how smart they are!?! We witnessed the cardboard boat derby for the first time, and while the weather was decent, there was a chill in the air, and the raging rapids were full of water that was recently in the form of snow!
Glad to see they wore life vests and helmets, but a full body wetsuit would have been a good idea too!
