A Great Super Bowl Party!

Casey & Rob hosted a great Super bowl Party for the whole family and many, many friends!
The men watched in the basement while the ladies gossiped on the main floor and the kids ran amuck all over.  The Lady Gaga half time show caught the attention of the women and children.  The boys  came up for a food/drink break from the game during halftime and found this scene:

And Miss Holden will remember this day for a while - she lost a tooth during the game!

Play Dates

The kids both had a friend come play this afternoon!  And this is especially exciting because it was the first time Joseph had his own friend come over.
Joseph and Marcus & Lillian and Graceyn played so well together and separately.

Brenna's 6th Birthday

Brenna's birthday party at Fat Cat's today was the first Kindergarten birthday party Lillian's been invited to attend.  She had a great time, and was honored that Brenna saved her the seat next to her during cake time!
The kids got a behind the scenes tour of the bowling alley, and they got arcade cash to spend on the video games and skeet ball afterwards.  It was nice to get to know a few other parents from St. Anne's as well!

Daddy - Do

Lillian was most impressed with Daddy's hair do skills tonight.  She asked me to take a picture so she could see the back.  Not too shabby!

Feel The Love

It's so fun to walk into Joseph's school and see smiling, happy kids!  The new director is really shaping up the ship - if that's even an expression!  The simple act of finger painting is so fun to observe.  But I've also come in to the smell of shaving cream (from the kids writing in shaving cream on the tables) and vinegar (from the kids cleaning pennies) in the last few pick ups.  Signs that they are really working, cleaning, and making science experiments.  I love the simple subtle changes they're making at Little People Landing, I hope they keep it up!

Parent Appreciation!

In celebration of Catholic Schools week, the student council created this fun poem for parents and handed out breakfast burritos this morning.  As if a free breakfast burrito didn't make me happy enough, the 8th grade student asked me if I was a parent.  I'm going to assume he thought I was Lillian's older sister...haha!
