The kids were at 14,271 Feet this morning! We drove to Echo Lake, then onward and upward to the top of Mount Evans. After parking the van, we summitted the last 500 feet to the rocky peak in our flip flops! Amanda and Karli were with us but I don't have any pictures of them on my camera. I'll add/update this post when Amanda sends me a couple of hers. On our way back down to Denver, we stopped in Idaho Springs and introduced the girls to a Colorado tradition, Beau Jo's pizza!
