Grammy and Opa arrived on December 24th and these two kids couldn't have been happier to have them here! Mike and I had both been working pretty hard; catching up from being gone at Thanksgiving and getting ready for Christmas. Daycare had very few kids attend the days leading up to Christmas - which didn't help the kids want to stay there any longer than necessary! So when Grammy and Opa arrived, we were able to exhale and relax a little - finally!
Both kids lounged in their pj's for longer than usual.
Casey, Rob and Keira spent the night on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning was filled with loads of cuteness, exuberance and good times!
Having fun watching the "next generation" experience the magic of Christmas morning.
The gifts this year seemed to follow this pattern: Anything with wheels for Jak, anything Frozen themed or dress up related for Lillian. But as you can see Jak hit the costume/dress up lottery too!
And Lillian got some gifts with wheels as well!
Santa brought beanbags for the loft so the kids could watch their movies in comfort.
Jak lost his pants again...wierd.
More cars and more costumes!
Christmas Day we all headed over to the Burns' for a nice ham dinner and some fun times playing with our new Kinetic Sand.
