The Golden Rocket goes to.....

 Joe!  He was so proud to be the March Golden Rocket recipient for 1st grade - he sure is a kid who thinks "outside the box".  We hope he never looses that!

New Family "Pets"

 We've been wanting to get chicks again for sometime now - Keira and Natalie slept over last night so Mike snuck out to Murdoch's to surprise them.  They are so cute and so much fun - we just had to share their cuteness with the whole neighborhood.  It's been a baby chick party in here for the last couple of days!

Lillian is a monkey in this years school play.  I finally finished sewing her costume -she's gonna be a cute little monkey!

Arvada Winter Festival

 Every once in a while, we do something that turns out kind of boring, but then I look back at the pictures and think, huh that was kind of fun!

The Arvada Winterfest was boring,  really boring, but these pictures show some pretty good highlights -  Cause every kid loves to get their face painted!

 Best part about volunteering at the kids school?  Popping in and seeing them with their friends 💓

Homework and life lessons....

When you opt to do your homework and Grammy and Opa's you never know what you'll learn.  Opa taught Lillian how to sharpen a knife this afternoon.

 

Justin's Domino Birthday Party

 The Hensley's rented a room at the Apex Seacrest Center for the kids to stack and not down domino's, while eating Dominoes pizza.  They played ping pong, air hockey and foosball as well.  Overall great birthday party for a bunch of 7 year olds!

Daddy / Daughter Dance

 St. Anne's hosted it's first Daddy / Daughter dance and these girls had a blast.  We bought a limo ride  at the Crystal ball last fall.  They rode in style to the School House for dinner, then to the dance and back home!
