St. Anne's hosted their annual fundraiser, "The Crystal Ball" last night. It was a Casino theme this year. Holden was really sick, so Kim couldn't join us, but Ian, Mike and I had a little too much fun in the Catholic School Gym! We bid on silent auction items, stuffed our faces with yummy catered food, gambled at poker tables and danced til our feet hurt.

Hiking with Freinds
We met the Jacksons at Chautauqua Park in Boulder this weekend.
To our surprise the kids hiked like champs. I think the constant giggles helped get them up and down the mountain!
Love my rugged boys!
It's always fun to be with the Jacksons!

Salute to Veterans
Lillian had Veterans Day off from school so I asked her to tag along with me at work today.
On the way to work she said, "I hope I get to meet a real life soldier!".
It probably goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, she stole the show! And got to meet quite a few "real life soldiers".

Bedtime Reading
Look who read our bedtime story tonight. She is so proud of herself!
Mrs. Navarro pulled me into the classroom today to show off Lillian's journal. She is so impressed with Lillian's ability to write, and phonetically sound out words at her age. Lillian has always had a knack for language, reading and conversation and it's helping her studies now.

Dinosaur Ridge
I took advantage of a Groupon recently and bought us a membership to Dinosaur Ridge. With Grammy & Opa moving to Golden - we'll need to study which dinosaurs lived where their house now sits! It was a fun day, all of us learned something and we were able to enjoy an outdoor picnic lunch on November 6th! Crazy, wonderful warm weather.

Grammy Kerschen comes to visit!
Always nice to have Grammy Kerschen all to ourselves! When we travel to Michigan it's always so busy. We look forward to our one on one time with her.
We were able to take her to Joseph's school for their Halloween party.
We took her to Golden to show off Mom and Dads new house, and the surrounding sights in downtown Golden.
She got to attend Caroline's 3rd birthday party at the Bergner's house (but she declined having her face painted!)
And she got to attend a party at Lillian's School for all Saints Day.
She wanted to attend the Halloween party at St. Anne's on Monday, but Mike and I both had to work that day. So I sent an Uber to our house to pick her up! It worked out perfectly, she was able to attend Lillian's party and meet all of her friends. Then, I picked both ladies up on my way home from work.
It was a great visit. We packed a lot in and had a great Halloween together!
