Girl's Night Out Covid Style

 

The SA girls and I haven't gotten to in 6 months!  We decided to try an outdoor evening poolside.  We had the pool to ourselves and enjoyed a beautiful fall evening!

School

 I was allowed in the school today!  However, I worked on prep-work for Mrs. Drumright in the empty classroom next door, not in the 2nd Grade class.  It was so nice to see the kids work hanging in the hallways, but sad to see the kids sitting - spread out 6 feet apart and wearing masks.  I hope we find a way to get passed this soon.

Prepping for the snow

 We're enjoying a gorgeous Labor Day Weekend "stay-cation" this year.  Covid has inspired everyone to camp this summer....with limited opportunities to travel, folks are hopping in their cars.  We decided to stay home and enjoy this gorgeous weather....that is until tomorrow's expected freeze!!!!

Breakfast on the porch, the pool and the bowling alley.  What more could I want for my birthday?  Oh and they got me the Apple Watch I've been wanting!

Kentucky Derby in September...

 2020 has been a weird year, to say the least!  Most group events were cancelled back in March - but some were altered.  The Kentucky Derby race was today, 4 months late and without any fans in the crowd.  But that didn't stop us from celebrating it at home!
