I just love the weekend after Thanksgiving!

We decorated, sported our new Christmas jammies from Grandma Dominick and put together puzzles from cousin Ingrid.  It was a relaxing, productive, family filled weekend! 

Thanksgiving at Kim & Ian's New House!

 We combined the Lerch & Hanou families for an extra big Thanksgiving feast this year!  Ingrid flew in from Bellevue Washington, and Gary & Renata (and Lukas & Louisa) drove up from Centennial. Ingrid brought the best surprise gifts for the kids, placemats to decorate, new puzzles, games and yummy chocolates and Dutch waffle cookies.  It was so much fun and so filling!

SNOW!!!

 Finally some real snow!  The kids are upset because they already have the day off for Thanksgiving Break - but what fun it is to have over a foot of fluffy white stuff to play in! And a great workout for mom shoveling all of it while Mike was at work.

November Fun!

The indoor Playground at Apex re-opened! So much fun to play indoors on a warm playground - Lillian stayed back with Emma but the Taylor boys and Joseph worked up a sweat!  

Joseph enjoyed playing at Renee's house after school with Renee, Andrew, their dog and 2 very playful cats!

18 of us headed to the movie theater to see Frozen 2 on the big screen.  Even the kids who thought they were too old for it - LOVED it!

And we had the Trinder Girls over to play - and we made Salt Dough Hand prints together.  Great start to the holiday season!

Thanksgiving Play

 Joseph made the cutest Indian in his class play.  These kids worked so hard and took it very seriously.  

Student Green Team - Field Trip to Stueben's Diner

 Stueben's Diner in Old Town Arvada has an impressive recycling / composting mission.  It was an informative outing - with delicious malt shakes afterwards!

Introducing Baby Calvin!

 Our beautiful niece Emily and her husband had a beautiful baby boy....which makes Mike and I ***GULP*** a Great Uncle and Great Aunt!   All are healthy and well .  Lillian can not wait to meet him!

Beautiful Dancers

 Dance may be expensive but it sure is Lillian's passion lately - and she's growing more and more graceful everyday!  Third grade is Lillian's Year to dabble in everything - she's in Lyrical Dance Class, Basketball, Student Green Team, and she's signing up for the Drama Troop soon too.  Go get 'em girl!
