Monster Truck Show...oh boy!

So this event cost us a small fortune...but I guess a Monster Truck Rally is something all kids should see once in their lifetime (at least all little boys!).  Joseph, Ben and Will had a blast - Lillian surprised us and get REALLY into the event when she learned their were female drivers!  The girl she picked as her favorite "The Bandit" was terrific - she claubered all the other competition - and was in first place, until.....the boys favorite "Megalodon" competed and amazed the crowd.  Lillian was crushed!  Megalodon flipped, rolled, caught fire, lost large pieces of his outer truck shell and the crowd LOVED it.  He took first place...it was a sad walk back to the car!

Another Fantastic Race for Education!

Mark my words, next year I'm running/speed walking with the kids the whole time.  This event is so fun, and so important to raise money for the school.  Unfortunately, this years funds (which were record breaking - over 110K!) will be spent primarily on school security - something important but not nearly as fun as new playground equipment or something the kids would appreciate.  

 Daddy surprised them and ran a few laps to help keep their motivation up!

Bike Injury

OUCH!  Poor Lillian took a small, seemingly insignificant tumble off of the sidewalk into the street.  But as she came down, her tummy rubbed on the end of the bike handlebars giving herself an "Indian sunburn" effect.  She's so sore!
